2007 Milestones (Work-in-progress)

Our lives are marked with milestones, like the first time we stood by ourselves without support, the first step we took, the first time we sat for an exam...

I had quite a lot of milestones this year, and more coming, I'm very sure, cos this is the Year of Supernatural Bounties. And this post is by no means completed.

So, just to update on some of my milestones:

1. Exceeded 69kg for my weight for the first time in my life. (updated 25th April, 2007)

2. Dipped under 20mins for the 2-mile run yesterday! (24th April, 2007), did 80 sit-ups in ~7mins (30th April, 2007), and 22 push-ups in 2 mins (4th May, 2007).

3. Found the love of my life, the one I will marry, have kids with and white head until old

4. Interviewed 3 times by 3 different newspapers

5. Spoke last Sunday to the biggest crowd ever - 340 people

6. Made the biggest decision in my life - currently still classified until I am ready to share.

7. Censored (heheheh...)

8. Watched my first ever theatrical drama/play (Phantom of the Opera), first time in Esplanade, first time brought my dad on a trip (updated 28th April, 2007)

Updates!

Hi Friends! Yah, I know, I haven't really been blogging consistently due to my busy work schedule. It's not because of my darling... heh heh heh...

So some quickies:

1. I'm 69.6kg already!!! Phew man... Am I heavy or am I heavy? I keep getting comments from people... "Wah, u put on weight already huh..." but I don't really think or look like I did. Did I? LOL

2. I'm doing 20:33.45 for the 2-mile run. Still haven't pushed to the max yet :) But much improved over the first time of ~26 minutes and the best thing is, I didn't feel like dying.

3. I'm taking the TOEFL exam in 7 month's time. GRE after that.

4. I was in Singapore yesterday for interview by Berita Harian and Lianhe Wanbao. Hahaha... it was really interesting, especially when they asked me to "pose" for photograph.

5. Leaving for Bukit Tinggi this Thursday & Friday for company meeting. Now really half-dead preparing my presentation and quiz for my sessions...... BLERRGHHH!

6. I'm going to ******* with my darling this coming Labour Day. Yay!!!

7. In case you all still dunno who my darling is, well, ......... she is.................................................... see you in church if you really wanna know... LOL

8. I'll be going to Singapore again this 27th - 28th April with my dad. I'm bringing him to see Phantom of the Opera since he sings for the Sarawak State choir and adores the Phantom song and he's retired. Time for him to enjoy.

9. Lots of changes in my company - new Pharma Director, new Medical Director, new Government Affairs Manager, new Sales Force Effectiveness Manager, and new sales & trade people for my Division... meaning lots of my working days in April are conducting new Product Training for them.

10. I had a movie galore the past 3 weeks - Rob-B-Hood, The Prestige, The Departed, Dreamgirls, Operation Undercover (Ngoh Fu - cantonese), After This Our Exile (Fu Zhi - cantonese), Stranger Than Fiction, Blood Diamond, Pan's Labyrinth, and Babel....... Hahaha........ THAT, is, after weeks I had no more "free downloads" of movies, so had to resort to buying DVDs........ sigh......... Overall...., quite ok movies. Moderately entertaining. Great acting is Rob-B-Hood. Great storyline are The Prestige, Babel and Stranger Than Fiction. Great message is Fu Zhi....... poor kid. When parents quarrel or get divorced, the one that suffer and get affected badly the most is the child who did nothing to deserve all the shouting and negative words and actions. I really hated Aaron Kwok's character - the dad. Stupid idiot don't even know how to take care of himself. I really agree the wife leaving him and the son biting his ear off. He's really such a damn stupid idiot, teaching all the wrong things and treating the wife and son like shit. I thought he would change and it would be a happy ending but NOPE. Moral of the story is - DON'T EVER marry someone you love. Marry someone you love AND can't live without AND can be a good father/mother to your future kid(s).

Ooppss! Gotta go back to work now! Take care and have a great week friends!
